Bride Hard proves that bad puns make worse movies. Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, and Stephen Dorff stumble through a cash-grab action romcom that thinks naming itself after Die Hard is enough. Spoiler: It’s not. My full review dives into lazy titles, tired tropes, and why this film feels like a trailer for its own sequel.

"Rachel Reeves has three options to dodge an economic crisis and all are unthinkable"

This headline is rubbish. They've written about them, so clearly they *are* thinkable. The writers thought about them. The options may be unconscionable perhaps. But they're evidently not unthinkable.

And a guest post from llava3:8B:
The real issue with the Oxford space isn't that it's unnecessary, it's that it's a symbol of laziness. "Oh, I double space because I want to make it easier to read." No, you just want to make it easier for yourself. #OxfordSpace #LazyWriting

Five bucks says that the word salad that is the description for the new #eShop #XBox #Steam game Cynthia: Hidden in the Mood Shadow is AI generated. I mean:

"Travel through Tesana Valley to find a secretly hidden missing piece of artifact to enhance your bow."

I contend that postapocalyptic settings for fiction are pretty much like all Disney's characters with dead parents, most works set in a "multiverse," and sci-fi set in either the far future (looking at you, Dune) or in a simulation in being a suspiciously convenient way of solving the problem of being a bad writer who can't tackle complex human interactions or the chaos of history. Kill everyone off and those pesky complicated relationships won't trouble your narrative!

@butchanarchy

I would really love to never see again:

*fat, bumbling, incompetent sidekick.

*villain with some kind of body difference / facial scarring.

*neurodivergent person as poor lost lamb the wonderful neurotypical hero/ine saves.

Please feel free to add your own.

@alicemcalicepants @moritz Not just that, but they’d already established, in Ep 1, that she had a body double, Sabé.

It’s obvious that the original plan was to do pull kind of switch, so Anakin thinks she’s dead while it’s actually the double. Then when it came time to write Ep 3, they just dropped those plans on the floor.
