Quite a day today: Family visiting from out of state, rainstorm incoming, and high-flying cloud dragons everywhere. 10k steps, a few touristy things, and halfway across the Golden Gate Bridge.

I showed my father's widow and her friend my favourite beach walking spot. Her friend had never seen the Pacific up close; he sat mesmerized for many, many minutes. The big waves at the pier were appropriate for today; lots of things being stirred up and rearranged. But maybe the beginning of another chapter, and maybe a bit of space for love.San Francisco skyline as seen from the Golden Gate Bridge; the cloud dragons were perfecting their coverage, but it still makes a good photo.
