Bloody #lycaMobile frequently prevent me sending #sms messages with "carrier error". Really winds me up, not using WhatsApp but also not being able to reply by text.

Still fighting with #lycamobile to get a refund on the service they never provided.

Anyone have a contact at #lycamobile Ireland?

Signed up with them back in September and never got an email with a transaction ID, never got a sim in the post. They wouldn't send a replacement SIM so I tried to cancel the account.

They wouldn't let me cancel without providing the phone number or transaction id, which I never received.

Been fighting with them and card services since then. They kept charging me each month.

A charge back only got me so much of the money back.

if you're a customer of #LycaMobile which runs on #EE, you may recall that they got databreached and there's a potential people are now using cards registered to Lyca accounts to buy stuff (and the people registered for Lyca after the data breach)

Obwohl seit 2009 verboten und unter hohe Strafen gestellt, interessiert das die Telefon-Mafia so gar nicht. Das ist in letzter Zeit so schlimm, dass ich jetzt nach dem obligatorischen Zusatz für den Mailserver auch einen Spamfilter für die Telefonanlage bauen musste 😒🙄

Das da unten ist nur die "Ausbeute" von gestern. Aktuell läuft mal wieder eine Lycamobile-Spamwelle. Schön zu sehen, wie artig nach 5 Sekunden aufgelegt wird - entweder bei der Ansage nach positivem Online-Check bei Tellows oder der Aufforderung, erstmal seinen Namen aufzusprechen. Hauptsache wir haben unsere Ruhe vor solchen Zecken 🤬

Nadat ik succesvol beltegoed opwaardeerde probeerde ik een bundel aan te schaffen, maar mijn €20 bleek al verdwenen! De geautomatiseerde 'klantenservice' en chatbot boden geen soelaas, evenmin mijn account op de website.
Na een jaartje weer terug bij mijn vorige provider. Ik waarschuw mezelf weer: ga niet in zee met #prijsvechters !

Just switched to #LycaMobile. I guess I didn't expect a quality outfit given their low prices, but I *didn't* expect to encounter a limit on password length.

Are they storing passwords unhashed in their db?

Apparently with #LycaMobile I can receive text messages from "short codes" but sending doesn't work. I have no idea why.

I first discovered that (and got annoyed) when I failed to report nuisance calls to 7726.

Earlier today I failed to reply to a SMS from my bank and that resulted in me spending quite a bit of time on a call with them to unblock a card payment 😢

Chatting with a #Lyca support person who claims they charged me for some data usage between when my bundle expired and when they auto-renewed it.

I cannot believe their system is this broken and they’re trying to claim this behaviour is expected.

Apparently, I only managed to use about 3GB of my 20GB plan. Could have made do with the 5GB plan it seems (wasn’t sure how many video calls I was going to need to do for work).
