#Fallout2d20 tire kicking complete. I'm glad we did it; I needed the practice for the #MEPACon game I'm running next weekend.

It also gave me some ideas on what I need to prep, print out, etc. My scenario is an intro game, so I want to make sure it flows quickly/easily while retaining that #Fallout feel. #TTRPG #GamePrep

Finally ordered a print copy of #ShadowDark - the PDF on my iPad worked at #MepaCon, but I missed having a print copy to quickly look things up.

Looking ahead to next #MEPACon, I think I'm going to run my 2-hour "Straight to Hell" #Gaslands tutorial, with two more 4-hour Gaslands games on Saturday and Sunday.

Throw in an RPG session (for a game I already know, like #MothershipRPG or #ShadowDark) and I could greatly reduce my prep time.

Ran my DECANTED #MothershipRPG scenario today at #MEPACON

It went great. A lively, engaged crew who played it smart, avoiding confrontations with the big bads, came up with creative solutions, and saved the ship.

Sure, it was meant to be a funnel, and yeah, only one character died (heart attack while waking up from cryo sleep) BUT everyone had fun.

It was a younger group, and none had played Mothership before. All enjoyed it, and a few are buying the game.

I'll take the win. :)
