Applying the epoxy to the M2 of #MONETN was quite fiddly work. Three tiny spots will hold the mirror in its place.

The #MONETN secondary mirror is getting ready to be reglued to its mount.

Taking down the secondary mirror of #MONETN was a team effort! #unigoettingen

Tomorrow we will remove the secondary mirror of #MONETN in order to fix its mount. For doing that we just installed a jig that allows us to secure it with a pulley. Still a critical operation, dropping the mirror would be a total showstopper for MONET. #UNIGÖTTINGEN
