Day 7: A Song In Japanese
I'm really only familiar with Monsta X's Japanese stuff so we'll go with a Monsta X song. I had to think really hard about this one because I have so many favorite Japanese songs by them. I'm going to go with Wish On the Same Sky! It's such a pretty song and I love Hyungwon's parts in this. He suits this song so well.
I checked in on my Twitter account out of curiosity. I haven't posted since 2023. I checked my feed and only one of the non-celebrity accounts I follow is still posting. I had so many Monbebe moots on there. Not a single one posts anymore. I wonder where they all migrated to. I miss some of them. Oh well, I have new Kpop friends all over the place! Thanks for being here friends!
For a second straight month Seventeen beat Monsta X for top artist. I'm fine with that because I love Seventeen, but it feels like I'm cheating on Monsta X lol. Once again Wildfire by Monsta X makes my top 5 tracks. I'm still OBSESSED with it. I did listen to a lot of LOONA last month. I need to finish listening to their discography.
New lock and home screens! I had to choose DK this time because, well, just look at him! Hyungwon will almost always be my home screen. I love them both so much!

Day 3: A Song That Has To Be Blasted
Oh this is too easy! It's Beastmode by Monsta X. Every time I'm in the car it gets cranked up. That song is so hype! Joohoney knows how to make hype up songs! Look at how pumped up they get during the dance practice!
I had the weirdest dream last night. Shownu was in it and Hyungwon was in it. I don't remember much but Hyungwon made me and some people I went to high school with some turkey soup. Why is this man making soup in my dreams? You all have good dreams about your biases. Mine just made me soup.

30 days until my ult of ults is back! I can't wait to see him again. I have been trying to be patient, but it's hard! I miss his voice and I miss his presence with the group. We're about to have all of Monsta X again! I'm excited to see what they do when they're back together as a whole group!
Changed my lock and home screens again because I love too many men. Went with Joshua and Hyungwon. Hyungwon will always be constant because he's ult of ults and because I miss him. Joshua is literally perfectly handsome so of course I went with him. I have 4 Seventeen biases and a few wreckers so who knows how long before I change pictures again lol.
I made a new playlist! I put my top 10 Monsta X songs and top 10 Seventeen songs on to one playlist! An hour and 6 minutes of my two favorite groups! I mostly made this playlist to get me through cleaning up my room. It's gotten out of hand. This playlist will keep me going!

Currently using two of the most beautiful men I've ever seen as my lock and home screens. I haven't had Kpop men as my backgrounds for a long time. Seeing all of your Kpop men and women as your background inspired me to start doing it again.
I saw someone on Threads talking about beautiful male idols and they left my beautiful, ethereal angel Hyungwon off their list. Which is fine it's their list, but now I'm going to make you all look at Hyungwon.
I made a new playlist! It's my current Top 10 Comfort Kpop Songs. However it's only Monsta X, EXO, and Seventeen. Oops! Those are my comfort groups after all. I hope this playlist gives you some calm and some peace.

The fact that Monsta X hasn't been on Killing Voice when they're literally all great vocalists, including our rappers, and they have THE Yoo Kihyun, the greatest singer in Kpop, is a crime. I hope once Hyungwon comes back they get to go on. They were made for Killing Voice!
One of my biggest & most wonderful accomplishments in Kpop is having seen ot7 MX. I saw them on their We Are Here tour in 2019. I drove 6 hours to NYC to see them and while my chronic illnesses kicked my ass that day (I literally thought about going to the ER that day) it was worth it! I got to see some of the best stages. I saw Sambakja live! I saw the Mirror Wonho Shownu stage. My favorite was Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Minhyuk performing Myself. I was so lucky to be there!

Ooh! The impossible happened this month. Seventeen overtook Monsta X to be number one this month! Also BSS made the top 5! Light A Flame is still my number one song. I.M making an appearance at number 2. I listened to Don't Speak a few times and played it for my mom. I'm almost certain that the race for number 1 artist was so close it could go either way next month.
