Further insight – I'll try the wide #MacVirtualDisplay but resist the temptation to centre it, and instead treat it as two displays where the rightmost one is centred in front of me. This is the setup I have with the MacBook Air + Studio Display, so should be an easier transition still.

Also, I'm surprised the #VisionPro doesn't have a better story for meetings on the #MacVirtualDisplay.

There’s no first-party support for using your Persona in video meetings (but it’s achievable via the Persona Anywhere app).

And I can get audio output to the Vision Pro, but seemingly not audio input – so people hear me through my Studio Display microphone, which sounds a lot worse than my usual headset.

I tried the #VisionPro #MacVirtualDisplay for a few hours at work yesterday.

It’s weird – it’s a bigger display in my field of view and probably in (virtual) pixels than my regular 13” MBA + 27” Studio Display, but I still get a little bit of the feeling I do when working on just the MBA – I can get things done, but it feels like I can get more done faster at my usual work station.

You probably get used to it. Part of it could be learning to wrangle one ultrawide instead of two displays.
