🌇 Wirewalker extraordinaire Philippe Petit did the unthinkable: he made 8 traverses in 45 minutes across a cable 1350 feet in the air between the newly built twin towers of the World Trade Center in NYC.
On the morning of August 7, 1974, he stepped onto the wire that he and his team had set the night before, then danced, walked, even laying down on the cable, before finishing this dazzling act.
It is, I think, my favorite work of art.
