Il Tempo: Roma-Sassuolo 2-0, decidono Kone' e Soule'

La Roma batte il Sassuolo in casa al termine di una gara a lungo dominata, soprattutto nel secondo tempo, e dop l'uscita anticipata di Ferguson, nel primo tempo, per infortunio. A corto di attaccanti centrali disponibili, Gasperini ha inserito Stephan El Sharawi a manovrare davanti a Paulo Dybala e a Mathias Soule'. Al 76esimo e' proprio Soule' a servire l'assist a Manu Kone' per il gol che sblocca la partita. Tre minuti dopo, una finta di El Sharawi libera al tiro lo stesso Soule' per il due a zero finale.
Secondo successo consecutivo per la Roma che sale virtualmente al terzo posto in classifica, in attesa delle altre partite della giornata di seria A, con 39 punti superando il Napoli, quarto a 38 con due partite in piu' da giocare. Secondo ko in fila per il Sassuolo, che resta al dodicesimo posto con 23 punti. Nella prossima giornata i giallorossi saranno in trasferta a Torino contro i granata di Baroni, avversari dei capitolini anche in Coppa Italia in settimana. Il Sassuolo sara' ospite del Napoli il 17 gennaio al Maradona.

Short of available central attackers, Gasperini brought Stephan El Sharawi to maneuver in front of Paulo Dybala and Mathias Soule'. At the 76th minute, it was Soule' who provided the assist for Manu Kone' to score the goal that unlocked the match. Three minutes later, a feint by El Sharawi freed up a shot for the same Soule' for the final 2-0.

Second consecutive success for Roma, which virtually climbs to third place in the league standings, pending the other matches of Serie A, with 39 points surpassing Napoli, fourth with 38 points and two games still to play. Second consecutive defeat for Sassuolo, which remains twelfth with 23 points. In the next round, the giallorossi will be on the road in Turin against Baroni’s granata, opponents of the capitolini also in the Coppa Italia this week. Sassuolo will be the host of Napoli on January 17th at the Maradona.

AGI - La Roma piega un ottimo Sassuolo, nel match valido per la ventesima giornata di Serie A. 2-0 per i giallorossi, che si prendono i tre punti con un secondo tempo di ottimo livello.
La squadra di Gasperini riesce a sbrigliare la matassa al 77' con Manu Koné e a prendere il largo con Soulé al 79'. Secondo successo consecutivo per la Roma, che sale virtualmente al terzo posto in classifica con 39 punti superando il Napoli, quarto a 38 con due partite in più da giocare. Buon avvio dei giallorossi con Dybala che, dopo una combinazione con Soulé, scalda i guantoni di Muric con un sinistro a giro dopo cinque minuti. Al 15' il Sassuolo sfiora il vantaggio: imbucata di Lipani, che lancia I.Koné verso la porta, ma Svilar sbarra la strada al canadese con una grande uscita bassa. Neroverdi nuovamente pericolosi con Fadera, che al 24' impegna Svilar con destro sul primo palo. In chiusura di primo tempo Gasperini perde Ferguson per un problema alla parte bassa della schiena ed è costretto a sostituire l'irlandese al 39' con El Shaarawy.
La ripresa e i gol di Koné e Soulé
Nella seconda frazione la Roma parte con un altro piglio e va vicina all'1-0 al 53' con Tsimikas, che si divora la rete del vantaggio da pochi passi dopo una conclusione di El Shaarawy respinta da Muric. Continua il pressing giallorosso e al 77' è Manu Koné a portare in vantaggio i padroni di casa: cross di Soulé dalla sinistra che trova in area il centrocampista francese pronto per colpire di testa e battere Muric. Si aprono gli spazi e Soulé trova il raddoppio al 79': l'argentino batte Muric dal limite dell'area arrivando in corsa sullo scarico di Ghilardi. Nel finale gestione della Roma, che si prende con merito i tre punti con un grande secondo tempo.

Was Fussballfans suchen – aus Anlass einiger Pokalspiele

Am Dienstag stand ich im kalten Regen auf Bahnsteig 2 des sogenannten Bahnhofes Beuel. Der Bahnhof ist für die jahrzehntelangen Arbeiten an einem wenige Kilometer langen S-Bahnabschnitt von jeglichen Überdachungen und Wetterschutz befreit. Von 9-17 Uhr arbeitet dort ein richtiger Mensch am Fahrkartenschalter. Also abends und am Wochenende menschenleer. Obwohl: im Stellwerk am Bahnsteig 1 habe ich Licht gesehen. Was passiert dort wohl?

Auf Bahnsteig 2 warteten zahlreiche Menschen mit mir auf den Zug nach Köln. Der DB-Navigator und die Bahnsteiganzeige (nur eine am vorderen Ende) kündigten ca. 5 Minuten Verspätung an. Dann näherten sich drei Lichter einer Lok. Alle machten sich zum Einsteigen bereit, doch oh Schreck: das war ein Güterzug. Als er durch war, hörten wir die Ansage, “Achtung Zugbetrieb – betreten Sie nicht den gekennzeichneten Bereich …” Aha. Während dieses u.U. lebensgefährlichen Vorgangs erkannte ich Fans meiner Borussia Mönchengladbach. Sie wollten zum Pokalspiel gegen VW – ich nur bis Köln-Ehrenfeld zum Gänseessen. Mit 30 Minuten Verspätung erschien dann unser Zug – ohne jegliche Vorabinformation. Mein Gänseessen erreichte ich mit Mühe und durchgefroren. Ob die Fans den Anpfiff erreichten? Daran zweifle ich.

Erst drei Stunden später werden sie erkannt haben, welches Glück sie damit hatten. Nachdem unsere Borussia VW vor wenigen Tagen noch mit 4:0 aus dem Stadion gespielt hatte, wurde am Dienstag nur Gurkenfussball geliefert, zwei Stunden lang. Und erst, als alle schon glaubten, beim Elfmeterschiessen weiterfrieren zu müssen, erbarmte sich Manu Koné und köpfte den Ball ins VW-Tor. Diese Dramaturgie werden die durchgefrorenen 50.000 Menschen im Stadion noch ihren Enkelkindern erzählen. Diese nächtliche Heimfahrt konnte selbst die Deutsche Bahn AG ihnen nicht mehr verderben.

Verhasste “Effizienz”

Im Profifussball und seinen eskortierenden Medien wird so ein Vorgang als “Effizienz” gefeiert. It’s the economy, stupid! Die Mehrheit der Fans ist aber nicht im Stadion, sondern vor der Glotze. Meistens in der Kneipe (Pay-TV), in diesem Fall im Wohnzimmer (ARD). Sie wollen nicht gequält werden, werden es aber, fortgesetzt. Fans der anderen Borussia aus Dortmund wissen, was ich meine. Der weise César Luis Menotti wusste zwischen rechtem und linkem Fussball zu unterscheiden. Der Linke ist der Schöne, der Rechte der Effiziente. Selten trifft der Linke mit Effizienz zusammen, personifiziert in Stars wie Diego Armando Maradona Franco oder Sócrates Brasileiro Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira oder in den Teams von Brasilien 1958, 1970, 1982, Frankreich 1998, Deutschland bei der EM 1972, Borussia Mönchengladbach in den 70ern.

Das wahre Leben ist eins voller Widersprüche. Unsere beiden westdeutschen Borussias haben furchtbar gespielt, ihre zahlreichen Fans gequält, und hören mutmasslich nicht damit auf. Ihre vereinspolitischen Führungen wollen in der DFL sogar für den Einmarsch von Investoren-Heuschrecken und Haien stimmen. Damit stellen sie sich gegen den Kern ihres eigenen Vereins, seine (alte) Substanz, von altmodischen Menschen “Werte” genannt.

Den “linken” Fussball dagegen haben gestern und vorgestern ausgerechnet die Betriebsmannschaften von Bayermonsanto und Daimler gespielt. Welt- und Migrationsauswahlen sind sie übrigens alle: die gut und schön aufspielenden, wie die schlechten. Im deutschen Profifussball gibt es keinen Fachkräftemangel, weil es auch kein Migrationsproblem gibt. Die Arbeitskräfte haben sogar eine freie Wahl der Staatsbürgerschaft – allerdings nur die, die den Sprung zu (TV-)Stars schaffen, das sind weniger als 5%. Ich habe jedenfalls gestern entschieden, dass ich diesem VFB Stuttgart noch öfter zuschauen will. Und das – Sie können mir glauben, dass mich das quält – obwohl er von einem Hoeness gecoacht wird.

Zum BVB hat sein Kapitän Emre Can gestern das Nötige gesagt. Einer, der nicht mit Erdogan posiert hat. Das realistische Unternehmensziel für die Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA ist unter solchen Umständen das meiner Gladbacher Borussia: “einstelliger Tabellenplatz”. Für meine ein schöner Erfolg, für die in Dortmund ein benkoartiger Zusammenbruch.

Mein Perspektivziel: Abstieg in die Zweite Liga zu Nürnberg, Schalke, Kaiserslautern, Hertha BSC, Braunschweig, HSV, St. Pauli, Hannover, Fortuna … der FC Köln kommt sicher mit. Sollen die Plastikvereine in der Ersten doch unter sich bleiben. Und dann sehen wir ihnen dabei zu, wie verzweifelt sie um einen TV-Vertrag betteln.

Perhaps with this and Koné's injury we can get 'em both for €40m
