Once stolen and luckily returned. While studying for a tour of a 17th-century contemporary of his, I saw this. Zoom in on his eyes. What a movingly beautiful self-portrait. 24 years old.. I love this. Almost 400 years later, it could easily be the young man living next door. (Not my photo)
