Mastodon needs to urgently improve its trends, especially the hashtag section. I have no idea if it can be done in a way that satisfies the user base, but every time I go to the hashtag section, the trends are irrelevant to me. I use Mastodon to be informed about news events, and right now, only Sarkozy, and Triell are news-related hashtags

We could upload a video X time long and allow a system to make the cut to fit the 30s frame instead of having the notification your video is too long. Why?
