We are running a pasta dinner tonight, for a woman we know who just passed from cancer---it was supposed to be for her as she recovered, so fuck cancer.

My volunteer job at the Herb Garden is over for the season, but this is a different animal---I hope my shoulders hold out.

It's all restaurant sized pots and pans and lots of lifting! We haven't run one in a few years, so yikes!

Of course, clocks change here as well, and I have 8 hours at early voting poll in am.

Now, to make sure I don't sneak too many meatballs...
