Finally an update on yesterday’s fire in #Tryon #NC. All evacuations from yesterday remain in place with the addition of Harmon Field (staging area). Only a “small amount” is contained, and fire is staged at 400-500 acres as of this morning. No injuries, no loss of structures known. Apparently high winds yesterday knocked down a power line. It has been named the #3910Fire. I’ve also seen it named the #MelroseFire. Hard to get good info….
