Going to have a coffee and cake on the way, so it seems like a good time to photograph the current #skz #manicure from #MittyNails
Based on one of the concepts from Hollow photoshoots.
The nail tech did some beautiful work with brush strokes and stippling and fine details. It had the exact air of the abandoned building overgrown with vines etc.
But then we made the fatal mistake of choosing a gloss topcoat instead of matte, and most of the lovely texture got lost under the gloss.
We'll know better next time.
💖 #IHeartKpop's Melbourne store is open and I love it. They have a shipment of Japanese #skz albums expected in on Tuesday, so I'll go back again on Wednesday.

💅 Finally got a photo of the #manicure, featuring duckies on one hand, and #PuppyM + kira-kira sparkles on the other. (Photo's a bit low-res but it's better than no photo.)
My wonderful nail artists at #MittyNails regularly post photos of their work on instagram, including my own manicures and my kiddo's.
And I can't *see* them any more because Instagram won't let me look at posts unless I sign in to Instagram.
Those FUCKERS.
(I deleted my instagram account earlier this year and I'm not going back. But I *yearn*.)
I fully understand why nail artists, tattoo artists, jewellers, and lots of other creatives still have accounts on instagram and mostly post photos of their work there. I get it. I want them to be able to stay in business and get more customers and all of those good things.
There really isn't much of a valid alternative for practictioners in creative fields where the visuals matter so much, and where they need to keep bringing in new customers.
Ahhh I've lost some of my chill. I'd like it back please.
Trying to give a better idea of what this manicure looks like but it's hard to photograph!
There are some pink-to-blue airbrushed gradients with chrome polish to make them metallic, and 2 of them have ... Oh. I just realised.
2 of them have hearts painted with chrome polish. #ChromeHearts, if you will, ahaha oh dear.
The hearts are quite subtle on the pink & blue background, though. I wasn't sure I liked them at first, but I like them now.
I did *not* suggest the idea of drawing these hearts. They are entirely the nail tech's idea. Perhaps because my own obsession with #BangChan's chrome hearts obsession is visible from space.
Two nails are black with silver chains glued around the edges. I've never had anything glued on to my nails before and I am not confident that I'll be able to protect them from damage until the next manicure. But I'll try!

It's probably going to be based of the outfits #Felix, #Changbin & #I_N are wearing in the karaoke screenshot.
But I was also considering the #MIROH album art & would've gone with that for sure if the apartment purchase had fallen through
