Eastern end of Tewkesbury Abbey lit by mid morning sun. In the foreground an ancient craggy mulberry tree slightly obscures the building. In the lower foreground is a tidy lawn embedded in which are slabs arranged to represent the footings of the Abbey's former Lady Chapel which probably was looted for stone at the time of the dissolution of the monasteries under King Henry the eighth.
