Today my adtech-stack is trying to convince me that mulled wine is something you make with "mulling spices", imagined as expensive little 1-2 ounce transparent packages with twee ribbon closures and priced at multiple dollars per ounce. Whereas in reality this is the highest and best use of all the dried-out elderly spices (whole or ground) in the back of your cabinet. Use 'em up and then buy nice fresh ones, packaged separately, if you must buy something!
