Was mich, praktisch seit der Kindheit, an Konzeptkarren immer genervt hat: selbst die, die für eine reale Umsetzung gedacht sind - sehen am Ende immer anders aus als das Konzept. Und damit meine ich nicht "besser".

Das Konzept zeigt paar wirklich schicke kurven, nette Styles, mal ein dynamisch-elegantes oder auch verspielt-aggressives Äußeres.... und der Realkarren dann: "hey, ich bin immerhin kein #Multipla, also sei mal zufrieden!" (a p) #Konzeptauto

Die berühmt-berüchtigte erste Serie des #Fiat #Multipla hat es aber ins Museum of Modern Art geschafft... 😀

Die erste Version des Multipla Bipower wurde in der Ausstellung Different Roads. Automobiles for the Next Century vom 22. Juli bis 21. September 1999 im Museum of Modern Art in New York ausgestellt. Die Ausstellung zeigte laut MoMA neun innovative Automobile, die die wachsenden sozialen, ökonomischen und ökologischen Probleme der Automobilindustrie im 21. Jahrhundert lösen könnten.

I'd give house room to any Multipla, old or new, other than the bland 2004-on 'facelift' version. If the Daily Telegraph describe it as looking like a psychotic cartoon duck, that's the car for me!

But the 600 Multipla was Fiat at its best.
