I just wanted to share a small blog post that I've made on my Neocities page!
I tried to make it look "older", as I've never been good with making modern designs.
In the future I hope I'll be able to host a website on my own, without the need of a 3rd party service.

Maybe it'll stick for a bit this time. Heck I'm vaguely doing things with the other few #Neocities sites I've got. Why not the one I'm also paying for a domain name for? (Proper grammar. Nailing it!)
How can I not report a site that places a wild boar in front of you as soon as you enter?
I tried making a Neocities account today. I was stopped dead in my tracks by an unlabeled field with protected input in the signup form. I thought it was the password field, but there's a labeled password field with protected input a little further down, so I have no idea what that first one is. Just a little further down is an hcaptcha challenge that forces me to give my email address to hcaptcha because hcaptcha can't be bothered to implement actual accessibility
In three days it will be the two-year anniversary of when I started Debutniverse. I would love to hear your feedback on it - what you like about the articles, what you wish I would change or do better, or what you would like to see more of!

Basically GeoCities, but.. alive.
It just makes me so irrationally happy seeing so many creative sites that people made by themselves. *Especially* in the times of AI-ridden internet.

Every month, we get together at .zip to work on our personal sites with HTML, CSS and Javascript. When we get stuck on difficult coding challenges, we have each other to help out.
Wrote up a little after-action report about my D&D session yesterday! Had a lot of fun with my friends getting to the fey realm and getting into the first combats of the campaign.

I’m very interested in moving my 11ty deployment from GitHub to the omg.lol SourceTube (M$ and AI etc🤮).

I rearranged the ol' #neocities site again. The "digital garden" pages are a mess but that's for another day!
Slowly putting together my website using #neocities. Once I finish fighting with CSS, I'll put the unfinished up. Not buying the domain itself until it's better, but it's decent for now! Enough to tell my story as a #musician, keep my links together, and be a blog of my NH businesses shoutouts :)
Any tips on making 2 different ul styles? I can't figure out the line spacing and using class just makes it identical to the original... I may also be dumb.

The whole goal of these places was to replicate the geocities experience. And that meant learning to handcraft your own HTML code by trial and error.
