Kai - this little man just walked 2 blocks to my mom’s house! He probably could’ve made it home but he hitched a ride. Furthest he’s ever walked properly in his life and he walked like a good boy! Sat down at all the corners and waited for me to tell him it was okay to go. If you need some inspiration - take it from him, a few steps further every day and you’ll get there. Kai’s doing great since surgery - scars are healing up well, he’s building muscle in his leg that hasn’t had any since it was injured, and he’s up to walking about a block & a half so far.
