I thought I couldn't hate this open office plan any more, but one of my coworkers has decided to share Christmas music with us today.
No one else is saying anything, so I'm just working with earbuds playing some stranger's depression playlist on Spotify. (And they snuck in "Last Christmas" by Wham!, but I caught it in time)
It should be forbidden to wear perfume in an office environment. Especially with today's perfumes, which can have an extremely penetrating odor, it often happens that they cause headaches for other people.
Why do some people (no offense, but in my experience, mainly women) have the impression that they have to stink each other up with perfume?
Is there some unofficial stink test that I don't know about?

At least, knowing this beforehand, I left my work computer set up before I went on leave. So, I just logged on for an hour to set it up. Of course, the migration tool didn't appear, so I had to set it up manually. The guide was adequate, and I managed to get it done without much trouble. I have access to our chat app on my work phone again as well (yah?). Back to taking it easy until next week.

So, at work, we migrated our company e-mail to a new server yesterday. We're supposed to log in within 48 hours to keep from losing our old inbox. The company's response to "what if someone is out due to vacation or medical leave (like I am now) and can't access the network to do the migration?":
