I always thought I wasn't the lace knitting type, but Old Shale ain't bad.
Which is a good thing, as this baby blanket has a long way to go yet.

A section of an incomplete peachy-coloured knitted baby blanket. There is a small garter stitch border at the bottom, and then several repeats of the four-row Old Shale lace pattern, creating a rippled effect.
