It's been a month since I joined #fediverse. Time for a proper #introduction 🙃

I'm Serhii from #Ukraine. Not always online due to #UkraineWar (we had a 30 hours #blackout last week after russian missile strikes).

I've been working at #Vaadin for more than 5 years. My main focus is creating #WebComponents using #javascript, #java and #typescript.

Finally, I'm a member of #OpenWC and #ModernWebDev teams. I also do #opensource on my own and I especially enjoy using #buildWithLit 🔥

@kulykov ah, I remember interacting with docs, and I wasn't particularly pleased to see marginal focus on how to do things with . You can imagine what my thought process was ATM: a lot of Lit talk = vendor lock-in = bye. I'll investigate it better.

@vint I understand those folks, too. Going buildless is one of the ideas behind the #OpenWC project that I'm part of.

But for now (at least until import maps land everywhere) I recommend using Web Dev Server. It has almost zero "magic" compared to other tools.
