For a semester or two starting in 2019, I had a working #PDP-11 running #RT-11 or #Unix in my office for students to play with. I installed it for a #hackathon, and one student implemented Conway's Game of Life in RT-11 with MACRO-11 during the event. #retrocomputing

A generic university office with a VT-100, PDP-11/34, and two RL disk drives along the back wall beside an Osborne 1, a VT-100 at the primary workstation position, and a TI 99/4a facing away from the workstation position at a side table. There are several disk packs, mechanical calculators, component bins, and other nerdly paraphernalia about. There is a banana on the end of a desk extension, presumably for scale.
