> Renowned Palestinian journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi has been martyred, killed by Israeli collaborators from the Dughmosh clan in Gaza while preparing a report.
For two years, al-Jaafarawi covered the Israeli war on Gaza, documenting its atrocities and exposing war crimes for the world to see.
When the ceasefire in Gaza was confirmed, he delivered a heartfelt message from northern Gaza, one of gratitude and resilience, marking the end of what he called a "genocidal war".
He thanked all those who stood by the Palestinian cause, from protesters and boycotters to artists, athletes, and activists who amplified Gaza’s voice across the globe. Al-Jaafarawi also extended his gratitude to the activists behind the Gaza Sumud Flotilla and the Freedom Flotilla.
Yet, his final words carried a powerful plea: "Yes, the war has ended, but don’t turn your attention away from Gaza. Stay with Gaza always, because Gaza needs your voice, especially in the coming stage."
"We are the people of this land, and we have the right to live on it," Al-Jaafarawi affirmed.
