Second leads James Blakeley and Ida Lupino in the Paramount musical comedy, “Paris in Spring” (1935)

The original title was “Two on a Tower”, referring to an early scene where Lupino and the male lead Tullio Carminati “meet cute” at the top of the Eiffel Tower where both are contemplating suicide over romantic problems. The more generic name was likely substituted since the movie is actually a vehicle for opera singer and actress Mary Ellis.
