When permanent Daylight Savings Time was actually implemented in the US, people hated it.. (But as we have seen, the US does not learn from experience.)

Were that this change permanent, and #Boston were freed of the tyranny of Eastern Standard Time forever!

Right... So Americans, what are we thinking?
Permanent Daylight Saving Time, or permanent Standard Time?
I vote for permanent DST.

Hi. If you are upset by it being dark out and, it only being 530, maybe you’re on team #permanentDST? Welcome!
There are a bunch of #DitchDST folks out there, too. I think they are wrong, but they are otherwise alright. 🙃

I knew that Arizona was an outlier that ended up with multiple time zones during DST, but this is even more convoluted than I had thought!
I'm still team #permanentDST. But this was really interesting! 💁♀️ https://apnews.com/article/daylight-saving-arizona-navajo-hopi-native-american-a1016ce873b772ffae544de9fbcd29d9
Ok we paid back the extra hour we stole last Autumn. Let’s not do that again?
I’m team #permanentDST (h/t to @User47 for the hashtag)
My experiment to stay on Daylight Saving Time year-round worked extremely well, and I didn't have any sleep disruption. Maybe living in the center of a timezone at 45th parallel north makes it easier than other areas, but I'm all-in on permanent DST.
@User47 I suggest thinking about what #PermanentDST or #DitchDST mean at mid-winter and mid-summer. For the permanent camp, how would the later morning darkness work November-January? More the ditch camp, how would the earlier evening darkness work May-July?
Huzzah for #DaylightSavingTime! I know, I know, we all miss the hour of sleep we lost.
But give yourself a week to recover and get used to the new normal. Then think- Are you better off or worse off with the new time? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But for me? #DST is the clear winner.
Check in with yourself periodically over the next few months. In this way you can join team #PermanentDST or #DitchDST and have rationale behind what you want. As opposed to “I’m just tired of changing time”
Daylight Saving Time is Sunday morning. We'll spring ahead, and have longer days, YAY!
If you aren't sure where you stand on permanent DST vs DitchDST I challenge you to do this: Next week, after we're all done complaining about losing an hour of sleep, consider whether your life is better having sprung. Do the same every month until we fall back. Keep a log, even.

Still mourning the loss of Daylight Saving Time, so I decided to make the first #pumpkin thing of the year.
I give you pumpkin coffee cake with maple syrup glaze. It's super fluffy and spicey and I put an irresponsible amount of oil and sour cream in it so it's also moist AF.
