I got added to a #PortlandWNBA booster club the other day on Instagram, Backcourt Collective.
To bide time until the 2026 season (when the new Portland team starts), they're organizing watch parties for #WNBA games at the Spirit of ‘77 sportbar.
I have exactly zero friends that both live in town and care about the WNBA, so, it's likely time I make some by stepping out of my comfort zone and (shudder) meet new people.
