Investors have filed a class-action lawsuit (amended twice so far) in the U.S. District Court for New York, alleging that the $MELANIA token is part of a large-scale pump-and-dump scheme involving at least 15 other tokens, including $LIBRA and $M3M3.

The scheme allegedly inflicted millions of dollars in losses on unwitting investors.
