What is QuiltCon? An event that transcends mere exhibitions and workshops; it's a celebration, an immersion, and a communion of creativity and community. Welcome to QuiltCon, where fabric becomes a medium of expression, and stitches weave narratives of passion and artistry.

While at #QuiltCon, I was able to take a Saeksilnubi class with artisan master Youngmin Lee. Saeksilnubi is a traditional Korean quilting technique that uses tightly spun cords of mulberry paper as batting. Her work is represented below. I managed a few less than perfect lines in class.

On the left is woman surrounded by tools of her crafting trade; on the right are pouches displaying colorfully lines.

Back from #QuiltCon, the annual event for #ModernQuiltMakers, this year in Atlanta. My best friend won first prize in the fabric challenge! Here she is standing next to her quilt.

Vibrant quilt of blue buildings on an orange background. The female quilter who made it stands between it and a first place ribbon.
