Huh??? I turned off #RSTP on the bridge, now it's working.
Why would spanning tree protocol ever even do anything, I must have a loop somehow??????? #networking

STP and #RSTP do not segregate switch ports by #VLAN However, in Ethernet switched environments where multiple Virtual LANs (VLAN) exist, it is often desirable to create multiple #spanningtree so that traffic on different VLANs uses different links.
