I used to live in West Seattle. Until today, I did not know the story of Rolf Neslund, who accidentally ran a 550-foot freighter into the old West Seattle Bridge in 1978… and was murdered by his wife two years later! The Seattle Times article about the rogue artwork in his honor is absolutely chef’s-kiss perfect. I love all the bonkers details throughout. Plus more amazing tidbits in the comments.
