Speaking of WebRTC gets me thinking about the UX of online conferencing apps.
There's no expectations in a normal video conference to have your mic on all the time, so why is it seen as odd not to either have your camera on all the time, or off all the time. Why doesn't it feel natural (for me anyway) to toggle it on and off when you want to say something, as it does with muting and unmuting the mic?
