Thinking back to the time I was being interviewed by a recruiter from Spotify, who asked me if I was in the Eastern time zone. When I said I wasn’t, they explained to me they could only hire from the Eastern time zone because everywhere else was too far away to overlap with their European offices.

Trying to cheerfully explain to them that there were, in fact, time zones east of Eastern time did not go over quite as well as I had anticipated.

I have just seen a "Senior Front End Developer" position advertised on Linkedin.

When I filled out the usual boxes on their site I was told that I had applied for the position in the middle of October and "Applicants must to wait three months before reapplying for this post".

Is it just me or does this scream **GHOST JOB** to all of you too?

Employment agency: "Here's a tip about a job you could apply for."

Me: "Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I need to spend a hour giving some final touches to a new version of my CV I've been designing."
