My parish is seeking a new #Rector. This morning, I came across the prayer (on the page to submit nominations for the Archbishop of Canterbury) and thought I would add it to our prayers #calling a new Rector as well. “Heavenly Father,
shepherd of your Church,
send us a faithful pastor
to lead with wisdom, courage, and love,
proclaiming your Gospel,
celebrating the sacraments,
and guiding your people in unity and truth.
Strengthen your Church, we pray,
and direct us in your ways;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Last night’s Vestry meeting kicked off the process of calling a new #rector to #AllSaintsOmaha #Episcopal Church in #DioNeb Please keep our parish, vestry, church staff, Rev. Marisa (& her family) & those called to serve on the search committee, as interim rector & as permanent rector in your prayers. We anticipate the process will take around 18 months. Rev. Marisa’s final services at All Saints will be on Christmas Eve. #rectorsearch
