OK, I'm doing my part to not create any new software with weaknesses due to C/C++ memory vulns.
I've explored Rust, seen that it is good, and gone from a "hello world" to a program which can RCE via ssh (using certificate auth) from/to my own machine. It was easy and pleasant, though I still don't fully understand the "async" futures mechanisms enough to not be stabbing in the dark with them...
