So @Cronym, @mary & I went to the #STSF Star Trek convention in Burlingame this past weekend. It was so perfectly nerdy. I hadn't been to one since I was a teenager. We were so excited to meet/get our pictures taken with some of the amazing cast members from Lower Decks. I even got to chat with Dawnn Lewis (Captain Freeman) and tell her that the "A Different World" theme (which she wrote!) has been stuck in my head off and on for the past 30-some years.

My last con was in 1995, planned to go to STLV in 2020 for voyager’s 25th (i stayed home) and i was finally able to go this year being it only a 30 min drive from home. 😂

I was nervous as fuck! As i walked up she commented on my shirt. It was enough for me to be able to relax and smile without shaking.

I even made a friend in line.

It was an amazing experience
