🚨 NEW PTEROSAUR! 🚨

Skiphosoura bavarica was a monofenestratan #pterosaur from the #Solnhofen limestone of Germany!
This species helps us understand how #pterosaurs transitioned from the “rhamphorhynchoid” body plan (regular sized head/neck, long tail), to the pterodactyloid body plan (big head, long neck, stumpy tail)!
