Last but not least, the Slovincians were fishermen; the village and open-air museum is not far from the large Lebasee, which in turn is located on the Baltic Sea.

In the kitchen of a house in the Slovincian open-air museum Kluki/ Poland. The Slovincians (Slowinzen) had largely given up their West Slavic language in favour of German, as the kitchen utensils show here. Most of them also had German surnames.

A house in the open-air museum "Slowinzisches Dorf Kluki" (formerly: Klucken) in Pomerania/Poland. The Protestant Slowinzen are closely related to the Catholic Kashubians, but have long been largely assimilated by the Germans of the area. After the Second World War they emigrated to Germany. Poles now live in the few houses in the village (outside the territory of the open-air museum).
