Just had a legit #Archimedes moment in the bath (minus the overflowing water, obvs) w/an idea for my next #NonFictionBook that has me openmouthed & overjoyed. As excited as I was about the manuscript I'm almost finished, I'm even more excited about what comes after. Talk about a Friday feeling! #SoberSeptember keeps getting better, AND I have a special bottle of an alcohol-free spirit in my fridge for a fancy mocktail to celebrate. This rascally scruffins WANTED to be at pinball last night but was instead at an art show at the adjacent gallery. YES, I DID PET THIS #DOG, NO, I DID NOT GET ITS NAME. Also, I had an awesome night of SOBER #pinball fun with pals I hadn't seen in a minute. No, the sobriety did not make me a better player, but I was 100% myself and I had a blast, despite coming second last in the tournament. (It is literally just about having fun, and I sure did.) #SoberSeptember #SustainableFun #DogsOfMastodon

It's early days yet, but so far I am 2 for 2 on NOT passing COVID on to my family, but we're keeping fingers crossed. I'm feeling mostly fine, and I have become The Queen Of Teas And Soup. #SoberSeptember is in full effect already.
