Apple to Rename iOS to Match Year

Apple is expected to rename iOS and other operating systems using the last two digits of the year iOS 26 instead of iOS 19 starting in 2025. This aims to simplify version tracking across all platforms. The iPhone naming will remain unchanged. Full details may come at WWDC 2025.
