Chinese scientists made new progress in #nuclear waste processing.
Researchers from State Key Lab of Radiation Medicine and Protection of #SoochowUniversity in E. China's #Jiangsu Province have made progress in nuclear waste processing, with their findings published in the latest Nature. They successfully separate americium, the major contributor to the radiotoxicity of nuclear waste, from lanthanides, thus making nuclear waste processing much easier. (Liu Yujie)
