Nothing shows that better than this clip of Holo walking the opposite direction in Lawrence's cart. It's just 57 real frames updated every 3rd frame, but subtly delightful!
I can't believe I only discovered the soundtrack from #MushokuTensei today. The story of that show definitely had/has its flaws, but the music is good. It's almost like a mix between the adventure soundtrack from #SousouNoFrieren and the "medieval European" one from #SpiceAndWolf. It's also written by the same person who made the great soundtrack of #LandOfTheLustrous. I already know I will be listening to this a lot :blobcatheadphones:

This post will focus on #spiceandwolf, an anime series, which mixes adventure, romance, and fantasy, which is currently streaming on #disneyplus (season 1) and #crunchyroll. It's no. 28 on my list. Here's part of what I said:

Series director Takeo Takahashi, who directed the reboot/revival...Japanese animation studio Imagin produced the first season. Brain’s Base and Marvy Jack produced the second season. Both are known for series like Penguindrum, Anonymous Noise, and The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases. Was a Spice and Wolf remake really necessary? No. Instead of Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, I would have rather gotten Spice and Wolf III covering Volume 4 in a flashback.

The original Spice and Wolf anime skipped the Legend of the Pagan Gods arc because it wasn't going to complete the series. Since Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf intends to adapt the entire thing, this arc is important.
