I mean, putting the price of the console and games aside, I also feel a bit disinclined to get a Switch 2 because it doesn't really innovate on the Switch much. I like the lateral thinking using withered technology and blue ocean approach Nintendo usually has with their consoles, and it's always interesting to see what weird things Nintendo comes up with every generation. The Wii U wasn't a great console, but even Nintendoland was a ton of fun and a neat novelty.
The Switch 2 just kinda feels like a handheld gaming PC, and I already have a Steam Deck, so idk. :meowshrug: It just feels like Nintendo is doing the rest of what the console market is doing by driving its value solely with exclusives. Kinda disappointing.
