The other day, at the dojo, someone told me, *categorically* that there is NO WAY to execute a #KoteGaeshi without significant #TaiSabaki (full body displacement).
The individual in question is, now, a NiKyu (2nd degree before yudansha/black belt) with about ~5yrs of Aikido (and an alleged "black belt" in TKD, which is worth what it is) training.
The guy is the type to resist techniques and insert his previous exclusive training into the form. His tea cup is so full.
I smirked, stated he might not be right about that, and ignored his further mumbling.
