There was a hardware defect in the Target 2 system (T2), It is used to settle more than 3 trillion euros ($3.12 trillion) of daily payments and financial trades between banks. The incident lasted until early on Friday morning, delaying money sent in the night for about six hours.

Je nach politischer Stimmungs- und Unruhepotential - Lage sind #Target2-Zentralbank Schulden übrigens auch schnell reale Schulden. Da kommt es eben drauf an wer das entscheiden darf. Da braucht der (mittlere) Süden der EU je nach Lage der Dinge eben auch mal einen Lincoln. Ist die Target2-Verschuldungsoption eigentlich fair (genug) verteilt? Oder geht es da eher nach #TooBigToFail zu?
