I happen to know for a fact that the founding fathers felt wealthy beneficiaries of government contracts giving out $1 million prizes (cough cough 'buying votes') for state elections is totally legal, totally cool. That's why, in their infinite wisdom and knowledge of law, the Wisconsin supreme court said 'nah' to reviewing lawsuits over it. Following the ol' John Roberts 'cede literally everything to the executive' playbook.

Now banks, credit unions, securities firms, payday lenders, mortgage-servicing operations, foreclosure relief services, debt collectors, and for-profit colleges have free reign to do whatever they feel like to the America consumer with no oversight or accountability.

I'm guessing the people who were wiped out by the 2008 financial crisis and the following depression are feeling really great right about now!
