Completed the second DLC of #TheCaseOfTheGoldenIdol. It took me longer this time because #KathyRain2 snuck in 😄 and I missed one main point that required me to fetch tips from the discussions, but, again, this is so well crafted and so smart.
Heavily recommended.
And, it's #MadeWithGodot!
Can't wait for the third dlc.

#ClairObscur: The current darling, and not entirely undeserved. Immaculately-presented and decently-written French JRPG. Grim, but fun!
#TheCaseOfTheGoldenIdol (repeat run - delighted to have remembered the method but not the results): A deep logic puzzle with some of the crudest, but most engagingly extraordinary, imagery.
#Nordhold: A *tight* roguelite (am I using that correctly?) tower-defence/EconManage game that's been stuck in my brain.

If you liked #ObraDinn, #TheRoottreesAreDead, #TheCaseOfTheGoldenIdol, and/or are into text-based video games, you should definitely take a look at Type Help. It's like a shattered play with a half-dozen stages where different things go on at the same time, and you have to piece back together. It has a strong Agatha Christie(tm) murder mystery vibe, I love it.
Oh, and bring a notebook.

Can't wait for the DLCs. This was sooo good.
I played the demo of #TheCaseOfTheGoldenIdol after Dodger recommended it on #TheGeekenders. And I have to say, I don't think it's all that good. I mean, I played #ReturnOfTheObraDinn, and I feel that one did it right, while this one isn't very good at conveying what's going on in a scene.
Started playing The Rise of the Golden Idol! Although the art-style has changed a bit compared to The Case of the Golden Idol, the vibe is still the same. It's still pretty challenging to guess what's exactly happened in the scenario's, so I'm curious how more difficult the game will get.
