Time travel and psionic powers always do an excellent pair in my opinion. Here also enter prof. Cawston who...is a nicer man than John thinks.

This episode of the serial has a bit of everything i love about this show. Like John jaunting to talk with Stephen. Or the design on the lid.

The Earth is saved in one of the most superheroic moments of the whole show! Having in mind the resources and FX technology of the 70s... I think is a pretty good job. And the whole act is indeed spectacular.

P.S.: And Chris at last stopped being iiterally car chased by the police!

Now i think... this is the first time we see the powers of the Tomorrow People can be stopped. And it will not be the last! That scene at the cellar is revealing. And in retrospect, a sort of grim promise

Poor Chris can't rest a singles econd. Above all else, he doesn't want to rest, btw. Is a good human, best friend. At last we have a glimpse of what's happening thanks to Elizabeth and some book about the fall of the roman empire.

And is terrifying as Hell!

Things go from serious to worldwide trouble in no time. And in a very violent and even deadly way.

John at the shop is probably one of the most unintended fun moments of the show. I don't think comedy was the intention , at least.

Just learned there's at least an original The Tomorrow People novel. Which makes me feel the need/wish to read. Another book to my waiting list, i guess.

I love this kind of tie-ins. Myabe not masterpieces. But if the wordsmith knows the jod...can be a really good entertainment.

here we have two things: Enter Chris (Ginge's brother) and that atmosphere of menace and danger. The changing picture is one of the scariest things i remember to watch on TV. In general, the scary is part of the whole tale. Even in the more calm moments.

Enter Elizabeth! My favourite Tomorrow Person. And what a way of breaking out she has! This serial gies to the point from the beginning , indicating at something weird, sinister and, above all else, dangerous and probably, lethal

Well, the Earth is saved and no more a closed planet, if i understood that part. Which means... more adventures for our favourite telepaths!

Probably my favourite part ofthis episode was the whole last act in the underground tunnels under the river bed. Always had a sft spot for subterranean things.

This serial open the Tomorrow People to the galaxy. Still will take a bit to go to another planets. BUT we will see from this point things more outer space-related.

I'm thinking about the climax of The Doomsday Men, for example.

Ah, that moment when the Galactic federation is named for the first time and Earth is revealed to be a closed planets for not having telepaths.

Love the old-school kind of villain Spidron is. Has that kind of "i knew it i knew he would do that" kind of charm.

Nothing like some classic british TV sci-fi ti relieve stress and feel some kind of peace. You know. is like visiting that place you know all is in the right place. Something you can trust.
