So, instead of helping children, they’re pushing them onto another set of services that are struggling just as much because of budget cuts.

This is only going to cause more harm than good. Speaking from experience, knowing I didn't identify as the gender I was assigned at birth, these children are going to struggle with horrible dysphoria waiting for support.
