Once again, TransPennine's booking site amazes me with it's shonkiness.

I've used it quite a bit over the last few months, and there were quirks, but I just ignored them as I wanted to buy train tickets.

This morning I didn't ignore them.
This morning I tried to purchase a simple ticket from York to Leeds a couple of weeks in the future.

After an hour and a half of frustration, I managed it.
They have at least two different search engines, neither of which are consistent in respecting the "Leave At / Arrive By" option selected.
One of them refused to return dates for the day of travel!

I filled in the website's complaint feedback form, and had to run my text through sed to remove all the "special characters" from my description of the fault.
Special characters like, commas and quotes.

Lastminute.com has got to be the worst travel site to deal with. Have been trying to add luggage for 3 days unsuccessfully.

Unfortunately, Norwegian won't add luggage as booked through lastminute.com - and they (LM) won't add luggage as they cannot contact me on my number. Have double checked several times and the number is correct. I have no missed calls.

Been through 3 rounds of request, getting quote, accepting, then they cancel.

Munich airport signage is terrible. I am one of many people trying to get to Terminal 1. Is there a bus? Maybe. They have carefully hidden the station at a random Lutthansa terminal.

Lots of confusion and delays. No one to provide info. Glad I have a long connection

Spoke too soon. 45 minutes more of delay. What's frustrating is there are no updates from Lufthansa - why have us all scramble to board when you *knew* the weather was coming in?

An hour late now, more to come.

Next time I book I will pay more attention, and $$$, for fewer connections.
